Been a while since I checked on Infestors

Recently on a ZvP matchup, I thought of doing something that Catz usually does when playing Zerg, least to my knowledge upon seeing his livestreams, which involves a combo of Zerglings and Infestors. I was on like 3 bases while the Protoss opponent got around 4 bases due to double expanding. On top of that, with the two Forges he has, he managed to get his upgrades a little faster than I did. When it comes to playing Protoss, I am usually afraid of trading armies with them so I decided to just take down the buildings. Nice to know that Infested Terrans are extremely handy when harassing the Probes. It took him a while before he managed to get an Observer to take down my Infestors. I was being aggressive this time against the Protoss, using my Zerglings to keep him at bay for a little while til I can get enough to get more units into the field.

If there was one stupid thing I did during that match was when I was getting Ultralisks, I forgot that I needed that plus 2 upgrade so they can absorb more damage from the plus 3 Stalker, Zealot, Sentry combination. But luckily, they managed to thin the numbers enough for me to kill them with whatever energy my Infestors have by dishing out Fungals and Infested Terrans. And, much to my relief, I won that match.

Given that the guy had a larger base than myself, I should have lost then. I should call myself lucky, but a win is a win, I suppose

It has been a while since I used Infestors, and I like how they compliment well with Zerglings and I think I might use these guys a little more in the future.

EDIT: Another big mistake I made was accidentally pressing R when I should have pressed T on the Infestors. Ruined the element of suprise. :/

Infestors just bobbing up and down out of the ground would be pretty surprising, I think. (If you don't spam the button when casting then nevermind.)

Infested Terrans are really good at killing like everything in a base that should be in a base.

Yeah, I kind of did. They bobbed like three times. One time was twice in succession at the first expansion and the second time was at his main

the ling festor ultra composition is really good against Terran since fungals hold the marines down and then 3/3 cracklings can actually hold there own vs 3/3 rines that cant stutter. The best part though is having the ultralisk's just run through a guys army because using that composition you can get a 13 mintue hive. so about 15:00 minute 2/2 Ultralisk's with 5/3 on the way.
