I'm thinking of switching races to Zerg, maybe Terran, I just cant seem to handle protoss anymore. Maybe today was just an off day for me, maybe people are still getting settled in their respective leagues, but it feels like I was completely wrecking yesterday and today I can't really do anything. I even feel like my play has deteriorated. 70th in Plat seems so much worse than 1st in Gold. Maybe this is an off day. Or maybe its for the entirety of my Starcraft career. But that's just pessimistic thinking. Its funny, no game has ever made me feel this way about it before, genuine disappointment in myself. But Im trying to stay positive. I even watched a Day9 video about how to just always be positive, and if I can a positive person, a friendly person, a helpful person in the TL and real life community, then no matter what happens in game, I will be satisfied with how things turn out.

As for the stress, just try to chill and tell yourself that it doesn't matter. Play enough games and that mentality should kick in. At the moment, just take breaks if you start to tilt and try to figure out what you did different that made you lose. The most important part, though, is to remember that the ladder is ONLY for you to improve, not to win.

I've been receiving a lot of BM and critisism (mostly from [H] threads where the higher ups shit on me) so this is basically my /baww blog posting haha. I appreciate someone stepping in and just being a Good Guy Greg.

I watched streams for a few months before I actually started playing sc2. Once I started, I was addicted and I played all the time. It was just so fun and do challenging, I love a good challenge and getting better was my goal. And I did get better, who knows how many games I've played. But i played for the challenge, not the amount of wins I could achieve. Stop looking at wins and losses. Start playing because it's fun, and challenging, not because you need those wins. It will make a big difference and you will get better. I went from bronze to masters in 4-5 months ish, but I played a shit ton to get there, and looking back I don't even know how I got where I am. Play enough, and just like anything else you will naturally get better.

That said, if you want to improve as much as your seem to, you probably shouldn't switch races at all. i have no idea what you're talking about zerg is easy, it's terran that's hard anyways, no big deal man, we all have some bad days and get frustrated, just pick it up tomorrow and you'll be fine, as for the [H], pylons and probes are honestly the answer to so many things, you might overprobe, but you'll realize how much money you can actually get how quickly, and that'll help more then any bo or tactical advice

Big thing where I saw this in action was in Golf, I noticed when I went to another city for weekend to play 18 holes each day that first day when I arrived I played horribly because I had all this school/exam crap making me think everything else then the correct golf club to use and how hard should I hit it and do i either chip or swing or that kinda golf crap, second day I played very much better because I had forgotten these real-life crap and focusing mainly only to the game itself. Anyone who hasnt played golf, go try it! Its very funny and when you are doing the stroke you only need to focus to the stroke and body posture and you cant think how the stroke will end up, u decide point where you aim, pick right golf club for the distance and environment and have non stop focus to the stroke and body posture! Its lots of fun! Also I think that SC2 works mainly in same way emotion wise. if this feels like september depression or something like that what will go away after good nap, go take a nap ! it helps are you 100% sure that you got pressure only about starcraft2 ladder season 5? If ur 100% sure then I think that you have ummm not wrong or bad attitude, just that kind of attitude which makes playing ladder and improving harder then other attitude.
