Days 3 & 4
This weekend we decided to take it easy and relax, and also to taste more things other than korean barbecue, which we've had every day (more than once.... even more than twice ^_^) since we've been here. On Friday we had some nice brekfast dumplings, by now we tried all their flavors: pork, kimchi and red beans. Kimchi is ok, and the red beans we absolutely didnt like, so we went back to pork!
On the evening we went to Seomyeon. The place is amazing, neon signs on top of neon signs, street vendors (lots of them :D ) and many restaurants. There we went to this street with a line of street vendors which funnily enough sell excatly the same thing, one next to the other, but we bought on the first one which is the only one to offer different things. There we tried this meat thingy on a stick which was delicious but super spicy, also some cold potatoes we didnt particularly like. Then we went to eat at a hidden chicken place, where we tried a nice spicy chicken and Soju mixed with orange juice which we finished like in 5 minutes, it was sooo good :D
On Saturday we didnt do much, just went out for more dumplings and to have bulgogi once again at the super spicy place.
On Sunday (to make up for our laziness on Saturday ) we started the day kinda early. First we realized that we always walked the same direction out of our hotel, but that we had never crossed the street! So today we did it and it was a great discovery. We found this really cheap and nice korean place where we had some really nice pork dish and sushi. It was really good, and it had been just across the street this whole time!
Then we went to the Aquarium, which wasnt our best idea on Sunday, because it was insanely crowded, so it was kinda hard to be able to see much, but once we got to the shark tank, we just sat there for over an hour and ended up having a great time. Afterwards we went to see the beach and walk a bit there, and then we went for Indian food at a place we found nearby, it was quite good and a nice change ;D
We still have half a week here so there's more eating to come.
