Well, this is why I should be fat.
Does anyone remember that website, thisiswhyyourfat.com? Don't bother looking for it, they took it down. Still, I remember spending hours of my life on that site, flipping through pictures of deep fried bacon and tacos so big they used a large pizza as the shell.
And you know what? I drooled over it. Certainly, some of the things were disgusting, but many made my mouth water.
Today, I've been having the worst cravings for fatty foods. This started with me revisiting the AFK Tavern's facebook page. I wrote a blog about the AFK Tavern previously ( http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=230650 ). It is quite literally my favorite restaurant, though more because of the people than the food. Still, looking at some of their menu items from their recent Warrior Night makes me drool:

Our KING SLAYERS FEAST! FOR WARRIOR NIGHT! One POUND of flat iron STEAK TWO HUGE TURKEY LEGS! Garnished with honey, balsamic, and rosemary LAMB CHOPS! With BACON,CORN and POTATOES just to round it out! Also a side of Lamb and Potato Chowder.
Hell, even their League of Legends themed menu that they had for last week made me drool with their Amumu wrap.
Amumu Wrap: Bacon wrapped sirloin steak and mushroom strips and green onions with tots.
Mmm... seriously, who wouldn't want to devour that cute little mummy if that's what he's made of?

Four pounds of sausage and bacon, all wrapped together and smoked with spices and BBQ sauce. It makes my heart ache to use it to give me heartburn.
Some women may crave chocolates, but I crave bacon and smoked meats. Mm... I think one of the main causes of this food craving is I haven't had a steak in over four months and it's finals week. I guess I'm getting a little tired of ramen and pizza.
Well, I hope my food raving didn't make anyone else hungry... or sick.

Oh, also, speaking of the AFK Tavern, I will be in the area next week through the 3rd, so if anyone wants to grab a beer and chill there (and watch me devour fatty foods like it's my last meal), then just say so!

You're a god amongst women. From whence does your constitution come from. Every other girl in my life faints at the merest whiff of bacon. You totally should be fat girl, but somehow YOU'RE TOTALLY NOT! Omg don't play, you ain't fat girl.

You can still access the tumblr for thisiswhyyourfat.com as far as I'm aware. Being from the UK the size of some of the portions is still really surprising to me. Plus there are so many combinations of food I'd never have thought of. However, I spend most of my time now checking diet blogs ;_;

Admittedly, while I am a total monster when it comes to eating fatty foods, I can tell you some really tasty things to eat that are healthy for you and won't pack on calories. As I was an avid athlete in high school, I had to balance healthy foods with massive calories intakes (you'd be surprised how much a 135lb girl can eat when she's working out 9 times a week).

Well, did you know that eating snack-size portions throughout the day is healthier for you than eating big meals?

That's what I try to do, I'll take food with me everywhere and snack on at least cheese and crackers between meals.

Lamb is my favorite thing lately. Just brazed lamb shanks with mashed potatoes with a good beer. -_-

Maybe if you put pictures of bacon in all your blogs they will get higher ratings.

Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than when cooking way too many strips of bacon in the morning on a weekend.
