I saw a worker rush from a certain bw protoss and everybody thought he was a genius for winning it. Obviously done with more style and flair than naniwa's but this has been done before

I know Naniwa lost but when you send all your workers at the start of the game generally you are SUPPOSED to lose.

sponsors wouldn't look kindly on throwing games. Let's not say throwing games, as that is more related to the betting scandal, etc. this is more of a case of "not giving a fuck" and putting 0 effort, and using a strat not likely to win at all. You could proxy 2 gate or 4 gate or whatever with same attitude yet those have a chance at winning. 12 drone rush can win as well, or worker rushing a terran and trying to stop barracks/supply depots from building, but no one is expected to win pvz with a probe rush ever.

so that's a pretty big deal; if you're a professional being sponsored by a company, you are expected to represent that sponsorship and act according to the code of conduct a professional would be--regardless of whether it's an ESPORT or golf or 0-15 detroit lions or whatever the fuck it is.

that's what being a professional is, if you're sponsored by something other than your own money.
