Ok, so I was planning on replacing my artwork for my arcadestick into something new since I was starting to get bored with my SC2 artwork, and today I finally got around to get the print ready. Went to town and got it printed and immediately went home and got to work.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/0TXjy.jpg) This is the last picture of my previous artkwork. Sadly, while removing it, it all got ripped to shreds because of some stupid remains of glue
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/x0AQe.jpg) After poppin' the hood, it's time to disconnect all the cables and connectors. Thankfully I have it all marked up since the last time.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Ga9Fi.jpg) Everything disconnected. Next step is to remove the stick and the buttons.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/nJZNC.jpg) With everything disassembled, I begin with aligning the artwork with the plexi cover. Using a sharp knife, I carefully start to cut it out. Luckily I got 3 copies of the artwork in case I was to screw it up.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/rSY0o.jpg) Next step is to cut out the individual holes. Not as easy as it sound, and the knife I was using wasn't the best one either...
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/64Z3e.jpg) Two holes done, only six more to go...
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/cTtxv.jpg) Fastforwarding a bit. There, everything is done! Time to assemble it!
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/siK09.jpg) Everything locked in place using the new buttons. Had some problems getting the buttons to snap in place, but eventually all of them fitted nice and well.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/lFLKN.jpg) Installing the stick. Rarity is such a beast.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/i2JqJ.jpg) Reconnecting all the cables...
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/AQ0qE.jpg) And it's done!
: D

That's some nice work. If I ever tried to do something like that, it wouldn't go well. I can barely draw straight lines with rulers, no joke. Good choice in the purple pony too.

SANWA stuff is the best. Congrats

I agree!! Rarity is best pony! That is really sweet dude! I would love to have like a custom MLP xbox controller or some shit! :D

Thank you guys. It all came out quite well. I personally think it's look freaking amazing. The strange looks I got when I showed it to my friends though were priceless :')

Its awesome.
If I had need of an arcadestick I would totally go with a rarity theme too ^_^

That's certainly one fabulous arcadestick. And well, it's probably time to introduce your friends to the show itself as well then so they can understand what that was all about. :D

You rock, woohoo! I want to ponify everything I own... if I had an arcade stick it would look like that! :D

This is boss, I've been thinking lately about modding mine to Pinkie Pie, but I can't seem to find a decent artwork that wouldn't be too hidden by the buttons (TE 1st generation). Anyway your stick looks absolutely smashing! I'm totally jealous :D

Wooooooooooooo. This is some awesome stuff :D.

awesome but trixie is clearly the best pony ^^
|
hah, I like the pony stick more by far :>

That arcade stick turned out great. Good call revising the background image for it. =) Nice work.

I like how well the joystick and buttons match the picture!

That looks fabulous!
Very well done! =D

That's awesome. You wouldn't happen to still have the layout for that rarity skin would you? i just bought a Madcatz Tournament edition arcade stick and really want a cool skin like this one. If you still have it, posting it would be great. Thanks!
