1st time blogger here, and tbh, I didn't really see where this needed to be put. (Although saw other ppl used blogs to show off Photo's, so figured why not
I don't see myself using this a lot, tbh, but every now and again some issues arise that I require an outsider perspective on coz, tbh, I over analyze things and worry w2much :D
But... To the problem
I thought i'd come with a slightly different request today then normal.
I wish to enter a photo or two into a competition with my trusty ole Canon camera. I'd be entering the Point and shoot side of things and have a couple of photo's that are really cool.
BUT I am a noob at this, and despite me thinking they are pretty nifty, I am slightly paranoid that they in fact, aren't.
That however isn't the biggest problem.
This is:
The competition does not allow digital manipulation of the image, but does allow
removal of dust n scratch marks
adjustment of exposure and contrast
reduction of digital noise
sharpening of the image
cropping and resizing is permissable.
I have little to no clue if my potential prize winners (Gunning for 3rd place :D ) are decent, let alone require this... Can anyone help me out?
Also, would posting acceptable size images for interwebs even show these problems?
As far as I can see, the one shows the veins in the bunny wabbits ears, and the other u can pick out individual hairs of its tail ( <3 me my wabbits.... Its' hunting season ).
Edit:
Someone has got hold of me willing to help out, so lets make this a generic introduction. I am 24, been a gamer for 15 years or so. I started on quake, Hexen 2, Doom 2 (tried a bit of the doom 1 demo), C&C 1 and C&C RA, I am aware that the 1st of the NFS franchise wasnt underground, and otherwise been around for years, play decent level most games, and a highish level (for my area) of sc2, despite what ppl may think. I'm still a student, and otherwise enjoy anything and everything. So this blog, when I get around to it, will include gaming rants, relationship rants, philosophy, economics, politics, sport, and pretty much anything else I feel like writing about when I get round to it.
P.S
TL ROCKS :D
