I like you. I do a special 4 gate in half my PvPs almost. In fact, my most recent win was my special 4 gate rolling a defensive 4 gate on shattered against a top 100 gm. I've gotten somewhat decent at 4 gating. But, stalker rushes totally own it.

why do people think its bad that you can easily beat diamond players with 4 gate? 4 gate is a weak build and people shouldn't lose to it anymore. It's not any different from 6 pooling or 1-1-1 or cannon rushing.

I love the 4 gate too! Just a very funny strat where you get to fight over the ramp and have some intense micro battles. I love 4 gate because it is fun and I love micro :D

Your comparing one of the top protosses in the world against inferior competition. Its like asking why someone dies to 6 pool when they 16 nexus.

4 gates are not difficult to stop...they are not a build order win.

Hell yes they are a build order win. If you go a "normal macro build" and it's not fast stalkers or it's not a 4 gate itself, you dead :O

I just had a game where the other guy was T, didn't wall off, rushed ghosts (????), then bitched at me, called me a retard, and told me to learn to play for 4 gating and raping him. God, that felt so good. Cry more.
