They probably had no idea how much work they needed to put in. That's their fault.

Just looking at the groups you can see the extreme bias that AZK have showed towards their own players and against fellow Filipino players who are not part of AZK. I especially feel for EnDerr, BlaZeR and JaBiTo as three of the best and truly talented Filipino players who were on the wrong end of discrimination/racism just because they are non-AZK given very tough groups. Really kills my motivation to host events when events like this are allowed to run after I try to put so much effort into running fair events.

![]() I also think this link is worthwhile to mention: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=283600 and especially this quote: "Seeing our friends at AZK working hard to put everything under control while their "leaders" was nowhere to be seen from morning 'till afternoon was painful. Torch took over management during the chaos."

This event was never meant to be a fair tournament, but a shameless act of self promotion and monetary gain.

Now, going on-topic, big props to Dox for going public with this and showing how shady and unprofessional Team AZK is. Yes, I'm from the Philippines and nothing hurts me more than reading about this epic failure that is the PPSL. It has set back Philippine eSports back a lot, and I hope it had not hurt SEA eSports. I was very hopeful when the PPSL was announced, now, I could only facepalm in shame. I'm somewhat thankful that Philippine eSports is in the dumps right now. The Pinoys now have to work a bazillion times harder to regain the trust of the international community before any event can be done in Manila. Although it was a bad spotlight on the Phillipines, at least the world knows that our country just does not have the infrastructure to hold such a big event as the PPSL. Malaysia and Singapore should be the top of the list. Hope we hear from Team AZK soon.

There's no real link and there wasn't anything about the Violet thing. Just that one time an AZK staff posted on the AZK forums that Violet had joined their team (when he was still in MVP). There was sort of a denial by Violet on Twitter. Leading many to believe it was a hoax. Later Violet left MVP, for study and health (I think) reasons, and was teamless throughout his brief remaining stint in Code A. He suddenly reappears at IPL3 as an AZK representative (with the jacket and stuff). There wasn't really much of a public issue to it really.

what a disgusting human being, disrespecting esports, sc2, korean players, YYJ, and the SEA scene. I hope he is sued and blacklisted forever.

I tried linking to the TL thread, but it seems to have been moved to a private forum. A lot of the AZK / PPSL threads seem to have disappeared, actually. http://www.gosugamers.net/general/thread.php?id=822154 (Scroll through the comments) http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/kaiss/gsl_i_made_an_image_showing_which_teams_have_how/c2ir17j Just to clarify, here's a tweet from viOlet 8 minutes ago - http://twitter.com/#!/Hwanni_viOLet/status/133747956418478080 ![]() He ONLY represented AZK during IPL3 because they flew him over for it.
