Gus is the guy who should be on Jail. Force him to pay what he owes.

As effed up this is, as sad as this is, disgusting and terrible, if Amanda signed for those tickets in her own name, with no other form of signed agreement with someone else that they will reimburse the money etc. then I cant see how this will end up well for her.
What country, court or laws, will put aside the fact that HER name is on it, and go on her spoken word good faith agreement with someone that seems to be worming himself like a snake...
Its sad for her personally and for the entire e-sports scene. We cant really blame the sponsors who must feel a bit robbed aswell, for thinking twice about putting money and their own names/rep into events again...
Amanda, I hope things works out for you. I really do. You seem to be a kind person wanting to help out and work for the good of esports. You shouldnt have signed it on your own name. Regardless if we wanna belive the best in others and that they'll hold true to agreements, you gotto make sure you got your back covered.

It amazes me that this guy was so much of a douche for so long and people put up with it. I guess it was in the name of trying to grow ESPORTS and the SEA people, but still...
I hope they nail this ass to the wall for everything.

I updated them in the event, but I did not create them. I'm only a writer.
+ Show Spoiler +EDIT3: So after looking at the brackets after the group stages had been played out, I noticed they were using a pretty standard format. Seed #1 from Group A plays Seed #2 from Group H. Seed #1 from Group B plays Seed #2 from Group G. Seed #1 from Group C plays Seed #2 from Group F. And so forth. But then I refreshed and the brackets had been changed. + Show Spoiler [Original Brackets] ++ Show Spoiler [Adjusted Brackets] +EDIT4: I'm told by someone at the event that the brackets were re-generated for some reason by pulling names out of a hat. Mystery solved!
That was my fault. I had seen a Ro16 bracket somewhere that seemed legit when I woke up for day 2, so I put it in. When I got back to the venue, the implored me to remove them because someone (most likely oGsTheWind) demanded that they draw lots to determine the bracket. Hence, the second one. Honest mistake on my part.

"The happenings within the past week are a disappointment for Filipino gamers, the gaming community and e-sports in general. This was a great opportunity for the country to further progress globally through e-sports and it was lost through a series of miscommunication and mismanagement. We empathize with the players and the fans who were deeply disappointed with the quality of the event.
The facts may be all laid out but we are not in a position to pass judgement. We leave that task to the proper figures and hope that justice be served. We only hope to further develop e-sports for our country and regain what was lost. This event will not be the end and we will rebuild on it and be stronger as we learn from the mistakes.
We would also like to recognize those who stepped up in the time of chaos and along with the spirit of the gaming community, soldiered on to see the end of the event to the best of their abilities. They are unsung heroes who were also unjustly blamed for the actions of one. Through them we see that the community acting as one and we hope to see this as show of true strength and solidarity.
A fire has been lit beneath us. We will let it grow to be a flame and show the world that Philippine e-sports is made not by one man, but one country."

In his defense though, he got screwed pretty bad. Maybe his reaction here is with the conversation I had with him the next day pertaining to the thread on the event in SC2SEA, but I still tried to be as polite as I can be to him. I did talk about Gus in that one, but still being careful not to offend Dox at all. Perhaps through that careful language, I did come off as some douche. I can produce a screenshot of that conversation too if you wish to see it.
I swear that I try to be as professional as possible with correspondence of such nature. I have no idea how anyone can view me as blunt and disrespectful. Abrupt perhaps, but always as respectful as possible.

Yeah, I don't really understand why anything Dox said about the LP entry fiasco is even remotely true. It was a friendly, polite conversation as opposed to "abrupt, blunt" and "angry". Also at no point in that conversation did they ask him to take down the page because it was "take the spotlight away". The request seemed entirely reasonable. I don't really buy that there's confusion with some other conversation because Dox could just as easily rehash his memory by looking at the logs. It's understandable though to twist in some bias given what he had to go through with this whole debacle. Still, I would really like an explanation from Dox on this matter.

You made it extremely apparent in your (polite) conversation that you were only trying to do your job. You were actually trying to be diplomatic and trying to keep Gus from throwing a shit fit in the direction of Dox.
Dox should rectify the wording on his post to not make it seem like you were an accomplish. As far as I can tell you were just trying to do your job without getting anyone angry.

Well, a screenshot of the second one could be interesting to actually know for sure if he was talking about the one that you already showed or the second one. Alright then, here's the second conversation. + Show Spoiler ++ Show Spoiler +If I did seem blunt and impolite there, please tell me. I really don't know where I went wrong there. I don't intend to make his post here any less true pertaining to his concerns with Gus, but there was no need to paint me as an accomplice to villainy. Not making me look like a part of this treachery will not make his argument less convincing, so I do wish to know why he would respond in such a way. I hope that we can all come to an understanding here. I'm not angry with Dox at all, but I want to avoid getting mixed up in this mess. I really was just doing my job. Hmm...yeah, so it seems like Dox had a reason for what he said based on this conversation. At least the part about taking spotlight. He should have been very careful to separate you from Gus though.
Well, turns out that that the fact brought by Dox was still wrong, anyway.
"Half way through the Australian qualifiers, I received some abrupt, blunt messages from someone who identified himself as Sonny (AZK.Avoider) Go. He was extremely angry about the Liquipedia page that Blahz0r made for me (out of the kindness of his own heart, seriously, someone shower that guy in love and respect <3) because he felt that I was taking the spotlight away from Team AZK and misleading people into thinking that this was my tournament. I clarified that the very first sentence on the page explained that it was an Australian qualifier for the Pacific event hosted by AZK, but he asked me to take the page down, so that they could replace it with their own. He explained that Gus was furious, and eventually the Australian Qualifier was integrated with the parent IPL4 page, as you see it now."
The only thing remotely true is that "Gus was furious" and even that is exagerated...
If Dox is lying about that... How can we know that he is not lying for anything else?
Making up thing to make it looks worse will get this shit no where...
