Very good guide for new players. Although I am not new to the genre myself, guides like this one really help to eliminate a small portion of the enormous learning curve that DotA 2 has.

Great Guide for basics in dota being a pretty casual player who hasn't played too much since 2007 this is exactly what i have been looking for to get back in to dota and brush up on my skills!

Looking forward to more guides would love to see some more advanced guides too!

Nice to read up on the basics again. I played a little bit of DotA before I got into HoN and it's nice to see the basics are exactly the same so I won't have to start over come DotA 2!

This is a great guide, and I hope I can pass it on to friends this time around. Some of them would quit before they would pick up on common sense elements like using your towers for protection against enemy units and heroes. *fingers crossed*
