Thanks for the post, helped to understand the basics about which i have already been reading and watching a lot :D. I am an avid LOL player, got interested in Dota 2 from the time they announced it , later I found out about LOL and picked it up with it being F2P and now am totally into it,

But with time after reading and watching the old dota games and the new ones , i found that LOL lacks the strategic depth that DOTA and Dota 2 offer. I am kind of bored with LOL, I tried playing HON too but i hate the graphics and it was too hard for me to distinguish stuff in the screen with everything being too dark and also the models being low LOD (Level of detail).

Me being an avid fan of Valve, am totally excited to see their involvement with Dota 2 and not to mention Icefrog, here is to hoping that I get into the Beta and sate my thirst :D

Those videos are really useful in explaining creep pulling! Hope to see more of these blogs, would really help the newer players in understanding the game better in a short time.

Good guide, this would work well as a preface to a guide on hero archetypes and how they work. Some people don't understand that playing support isn't just buying wards and stunning people, but managing the creep stacks, counterwarding, and zoning enemy carries.

Amazing guide - I use to play a lot of dota with my buddies on Garena a few years ago... those were the days. I will use this guide to help me regain some of the lost dota mechanics and hopefully not feed too much ^^
