Tomorrow I will be flying to the Pan American Championship in Brazil in order to represent my country.
You might think I must be good at this game. I'm not. Not even decent.
I'm just a lucky guy, not even the winner in my country. I was just a runnerup...
The only reason im competing is because the first place couldn't make it...
Now I'm heading to Sao Paulo as the first ever Salvadorian to play starcraft abroad...
I'm nervous, so nervous I can't even open the game...
I'm not a pro, not even an amateur. I'm just a guy who LOVES this game... I'm not a succesful person by any means. But playing Starcraft makes me feel at ease...
I spent most of this year as a diamond player until I could make it to masters with a lot of effort...
It is El Salvador's first time ever playing starcraft 2 in this competition...
We are the clear underdog out of the whole nine countries...
And tonight I find out I'm in the same group as EG.Axslav...
I pretty much don't know what to think...
I don't know if I should be positive, don't know if I should be a pessimist...
I only know, I'm very lucky to have the chance to be there...
And against all odds I will give it my everything, even If I cannot win, I will give everyone great games...
Everyone watching at home...
Everyone who could have been me, and could have had a better shot than me...
Everyone who cares...
Against all odds I will play my best...
And I will make sure I have no regrets...
And even if I can't come home a hero, I will give them hell...

Go for the experience of meeting other people that love the game as much as you do. That is 90% of live events in my opinion. That and maybe pull off some nice cheese

step 1: turn gravity in your capsule up to 300x earth gravity step 2: train for the next 5 episodes step 3: ??? step 4: profit!
seriously though, 5/5
get to practicing!

I'd love your position, you have nothing to lose, everything to gain and a lot of fun ahead of you.

Some of the more well-known players are probably not taking any chances and will only open with supersolid builds, you can also take advantage of that by ECO-cheesing them and hitting them with a nasty timing, good luck!

CHEESE BRO! Its an awesome opportunity, and if you can do well that would be great too!

You got this shit. I believe, dawg. I believe. Your games should reflect the motto of the New York Nicks:
If we lose, we fight. If we win, we fight.
Keep fighting.
