Now every time I pick up a group of hitchhikers, I get them to sign into the little log book. Just their name or initials with a short message like "Good Karma." I've logged 6 people so far and I'm really liking this idea.
I always feel bad for people who have to wait for 30+ minutes in the cold for their bus so I'm happy to help out. I'm hoping this little notebook will inspire me to keep helping hitchhikers out.
I should note that in the 5 or so years that I've picked up hitchhikers I've never had anything stolen so I have grown quite trusting of hitchhikers (maybe even a little too much).

(Took the picture with my webcam and couldn't figure out how to reverse the picture, so everything looks like it would in a mirror.)
I drove to campus this morning to drop off a paper and on the way back i picked up a hitchhiker. This one left me a phone number and a facebook account. (I'll keep that page away from prying internet eyes). The good karma may already be coming in.
