My biggest problem is that you still think your opinion about Broodwar is valid. You're still an elitist douche about it, and being able to ADMIT to being elitist doesn't make it any better.

I don't care even if he wrote he approves of stealing candy from children, he contributed more to this scene than you or I ever will. Someone writes something, other people disagree, discussion ensues, afterwards just make up your own mind on where you stand.

Everyone makes mistakes. We're humans, we're not perfect or robots. Our emotions sometimes takes the best out of us. We can be having the life of our time or feel like total shit, as if we were in an abyss of depression. The emotional rage can sometimes shallow us whole and take over us. We've all at one point been enraged, say or do something that hurts the ones we love or care for. I'm glad that you saw through the drama and came forth with a composed conclusion, despite how much it hurts to hear that you will have to leave. I'm also sorry that there are people who dislike/hate you... there will always be someone who wants to drag you down.
I would like to thank you for your contribution to the community. I always loved the insight you had at MLG and the many translations you've done for us. I normally don't write long posts on Team Liquid because I figure its pointless to post when there's so many more active posters and I can't keep track whether someone responded to me or not, but since you will be leaving and I admire your work I will make this post a little longer than I usually post (which honestly, its like less than a paragraph most of the time or one liners).

I never thought your original statement required the shitstorm it got, and I don't think you should be redeemed such as is happening right now. It's blown waaay out of proportion, and frankly, apologizing like this is, in my eyes, only even more attention seeking.
If truly you cared, you'd have had the brains not to post the original "I'm leaving", and the fact that you post an "apology" after such a short time, well ... I'm sorry Milkis, but I don't feel like I can trust you anymore. Throughout the past days you have shown so many different sides of yourself, and YES, that does happen, but we're all human, and you're not a "special case" or anything. As such I'm gonna treat you like I would every other person.
Milkis, I'm sad you're gonna be gone. But given your recent behavior, I feel it's clearly for the best. Sadly I'm more happy with you not being a part of this community right now (sorry for sounding so douchy). Sure, MAYBE if you resolve your problems you'll come back, but I honestly don't hope so. You had a great chance, and you really managed to screw it up. I honestly don't think it'll go better "next time". someones contribution to the community shouldn't mean you have to blindly like his opinions though. People disagree'd with his opinions, he can argue back all he wants. I feel like his ego is just really big and he was absolutely shocked when a lot of people flamed him that he emo quit the community. Not trying to flame because i still really appreciate his translations, but quitting because of all this AND handling it like such an attention whore speaks much more to me about his character than all of his contributions.
