I don't know what it is. Maybe I'm just too tired from working on the hardest test I've ever had, but something about this weekend's MLG has just seemed so much more exciting than the previous one I saw in Raleigh.

Speaking of that, if you haven't been keeping up it's totally worth it to check out the Vods from today and yesterday. There were so many good games! It's nice to see so many foreigners really putting up a fight and even winning over many Koreans too.

On the Youtube front, interesting things will be happening next month. Cave Story is going to come to a close in about a month, and the secret project will finally be revealed! :D

Yeah, MLG was as fun as ever, really a highlight of the month for me (and no doubt many others). Lots of exciting games, and the Husky/Day[9] combo was as synergetic and entertaining as ever.

In other news though, I just saw a terrible "top 5 RTS games" list from some casual general gamer types, where they didn't list BW, but did list SC2 as #1 because it "improved upon the original and fixed all the 'unbalances'"

So i'm in a very bad mood, considering how much that pissed me off

thedeadhaji: Errr I try and post a couple links later, (they're not in vod form yet, but Bomber v SaSe and Marine King Prime v Idra were pretty good (the latter was more nuts than good).) And there were one or two games of HuK that I really liked, I'll look them up later.

marttorn: Amen to that! Husky/Day[9] is always fun to watch. With all the caster switching they were doing all day I'm kinda surprised they didn't have any Tasteless/Day[9] casting going on. Maybe there's some story there I'm just missing or it didn't line up right.

O_o That's totally ridiculous! First insinuating that the first game was not good, and then saying the second is bad because it made the series better? Not only do they lack taste, they clearly have some problems using good logic.

MLG is usually the only tournament that takes away my whole weekend. I have been watching it for years, and it is just good fun.

I barely played BW and this hurts me to read :| Just have to shrug off the ignorance and pretend it never happened.

I am at this MLG, the crowd is great! sooo many people for sc2, i will be posting a blog entry in a day or 2 with my photos. Sick crowd though, the energy LIVE is simpoly amazing. so many nerds lol =)
