Kids SC2 League - Ages 4 and up

I want to guage the interest level of parents reading this in a kids sc2 league. Since kids develop quickly as far as ability is concerned, breaking them up into +/- 2 year age groups is probably a good idea. I don't know that there are 5 other parents interested let alone enough for a league so this is basically a shot in the dark, comment if you have any interest, even if its just a thumbs up.

If I can get enough participants I can sponsor the event with prizes for all the kids, nobody would be left out. I know 2 of my kids love sc2 and I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that lets his or her little guy hang out with them and have to answer 1,000 questions per game about 10 of the same things. But I digress.. i dont expect them to win, but it would be fun to watch.. and its ok to help them, just don't operate the mouse or keyboard

My younger brother got to C- on broodwar when he was 13 years old with just pure repetition and practice, he is 15 now and the best in my country in sc2. I guess this is a nice project in order to create pro players for the future, but still, I can't see a parent wanting their children to be pro gamers...

isnt the game rated mature or something? i dont care but i dont know if the 4 - 10 range or so is gonna get many entries

I would never want my kids to be pro gamers. Sure they might make some money in the short term but the sacrifices made in terms of school and university will mean that they will struggle later on in life...

That's exactly why I advocate balance.
Studies have priority but if my child would like to pursue a passion aside of that and he's motivated to complete his studies. I will encourage them to do what they like, while keeping all options open for the future.
