LoL is pretty balanced.
There are always some stronger champions than others but you can ban 4. Of course you have to play your pick/ban game right but if you do so there is no problems.
People who cry IMBA are probably lvl 19 with no experience in ranked. From 1300+ elo you usually have no problems playing a fair game.

Basically any champ can be seen as OP when they get fed and are way ahead in lvls/gold then everyone else. Silly people. Had my 1st intentional feeder player in a long time in ranked today. Sucked :\

You're kidding right? There is no way in hell LoL is more balanced than SC2 because a lot of heroes aren't even viable competitively at the top level. Also, the fact that you can ban 4 heroes doesn't make any imbalanced hero any less imbalanced. I'm not crying that LoL is imbalanced, I agree it's a pretty balanced game, but I would in no way say it's more balanced than SC2.
I don't really want to derail this thread so I'll leave it at that, I just can't believe someone on TL would argue that LoL is more balanced than SC2 though.

the ban pick phase makes it balanced. you pick the people you play with one at a time and saying the 2 people you don't want in the game and the other team does the same. picking shitty hero comps isn't riots problem.

Urgot is very good. I played 5 games with him in the free week in ranked. I currently have an average of 11 kills 1-2 death and 11 assists with 100% winrate. You can outlane pretty much all ad carries at bot lane except cait(that range and trap is just too strong).
League has a few very strong heroes like GP, fiddlestick(imo strongest champion until high elo since low elo people don't ward as much and just die to his ult+cc), and amumu. They are much stronger than most other heroes. But bans can often take care of these heroes.

I think you are the one that is kidding...SC2 balance is horrid still. Broodwar needed years to be balanced and SC2 is no different, its not even close yet.

No offense directly at you but these kind of statement makes me giggle everytime. How can you dertermine that a champion is "very good" based on your 10:1 ratio. Randomly stating your stats does not prove anything. If you were in the top 200 elo, it would. But maybe your ranking is 800 elo and your ranked game doesn't provide any good analogy.
Don't take it too serious but if you want to prove a point, state some facts, not some random "I did a pentakill once with eve, SHE IS OP"
Takling about urgot I think he does just fine, he's as good as ashe, cait, trist, ezreal, kog, mf, vayne etc...

That's not how video games are supposed to work.
Edit, to clarify: Counter-picks do not auto-balance a game. That's strategy, not balancing. If you are using a particular strategy to deal with something imbalanced, well then... your game is imbalanced.

League of Legends; I think it's also one of the hardest games to play at the highest level because the game changes state every 2 weeks. If any of the 'Flavour of the Month' champions, or plays catch on for more than 2 weeks, expect some patch notes to change that. In addition, there are no (official) replays, a huge variety of 'strategy' sites and only a core set of streamers being watched; it's impossible to consistently learn and practise the game. Any hero is OP when correctly pubstomping. Maybe with a BO5 with 2 of the best teams playing the same champs making the same plays (picks & bans!) we can really declare champs as OP.

because LoL is based on a more team based strategy (ganking), doesn't matter if there are 1 or 2 op characters.

OK, I should note a few things,
Urgot is not my favourite hero at all (that would be karth), hes just the ranged ad I got and his runes synergise with my ap hero runes.
I am not complaining, no idea where that came from, I am laughing at the stupidity of someone.
I needed to clear my mind before bed and I wrote that poor bit of text to do so.
Finally I better stop procrastinating and get back to my uni work
And yes vlad is up, imo.

People complain about my LeBlanc all the time when i 1-combo them 30 minutes into the game when they still haven't got any magic resistance or health items while i have all of my core items.
LoL seems to have a lot more balance whine than even SC2, which is quite the feat.
