Hi all.
So i'm just making this blog because im seriously considering getting coaching, im only silver and I know that you are all going to say "OMG WHY ARE YOU GETTTING COACHING". I just feel that yes, i could improve on my own, but I really want to improve alot quicker and I think getting coaching now would stand me in good stead all the way up to diamond.
Anyway, I don't know who to go with..... I have a budget of $25, yea I know its not much but it is all I really want to spend at this stage. Has anybody got coaching from anyone at this price? and if so what where your experiences?
Im zerg by the way,
Thanks for reading all

There are free coaches, you should look into those first. Most likely you'll end up with a few BO's and you'll be told that you need to inject inject inject macro drone drone drone.

At silver, theres not much a coach can help you with. But it is your money. I would just watch replay and try to copy other gamers.

99% of the time people that want to get a coach just don't play enough, I suggest you to play 5-10 games a day for a couple of weeks, If you can't because of work or w/e then getting coaching isn't worth it, if you have been already playing this much for more than a couple of months THEN I think coaching would be the way to go.

just watch vods of other people your level getting coached, the coach will probably only tell you to inject, macro better, scout etc. etc.

I was stuck in Gold for like 6 months and I decided to get a coach for 4 hours. 2 weeks later i'm getting to the top of my plat division!
But yeah what my coach (future) helped me with, there was nothing I had never heard of, but it helped me when we looked replays and talk about my play with him.
If you have some spare money, do it because first of all, you help a Sc2 Pro to live of starcraft 2, and it will never be bad for you obiously. But don't expect a single session will put you in masters in two games. You've got to apply the builds and the mechanics he will lead you to! Starcraft is practice after all!

Pretty much, since there'll be things you can find out about getting better on your own without needing a coach if you just play enough. Once you think that you're doing it all right but still lose a lot, THEN coaching might help.

Unfortunately the best way you're going to improve fastest at silver (like me) isn't going to be from coaching.
It's going to be by learning really basic fundamentals and then actually doing them until they're second nature.
