Anyways, if any of you have read my blogs before, you know how it goes. I'll just rant on random subjects. I'll even throw in some music from my collection of tastelessness!
Since the title is 'Assumptions', I was inadvertently forming connections in the synapses of my brain while eating a moderated amount of rice in a bowl that I brought to the States from my trip to the Japanese archipelago. Did you just stereotype me as a pretentious douche, because I used vocabulary that you rarely see, let alone use in everyday speech? Perhaps, perhaps not.
I'm going to catch a lot of flak for this, but I think assumptions are the basis of stereotyping, and more or less a part of the foundation of discrimination and prejudice. Why do I say this? Let's take scouting no tech in your opponent's base as an example. I would assume that it would be cheese! However, what if it was just all a mindgame? Aha! And we find ourselves split over the subject of assumptions. *More likely than not, it IS probably cheese, just for future reference.
To be honest, I probably stereotype more than what is the social norm. I think this is a behavior that I picked up from my parents. For example, I remember numerous times where my parents wouldn't go into a checkout lane because the cashier was black/Hispanic/Mexican. Occasionally, I find myself falling victim to this kind of mindset.
I'll have to end this blog early. Sorry. Maybe I'll just leave it as a cliffhanger, and finish it tomorrow if I remember.
