I haven't blogged in months the reason for that: girl problems and just life problems in general. I have been having trouble keeping up with school work and having girl problems just added to the stress that was being accumulated over time. So here I am with another entry in the ever going life of me: Nufo. Lately I have been laddering more than ever and finally found a decent practice group ^^. These people are around my skill level, which is Plat-Diam. It is really fun to finally be able to have up to 5 practice partners who are always down to 1v1 custom. Before I would have to try out new strategies and build order on the ladder now I just hit up one of my practice partners to give it a go.
I haven't been playing as much as I want due to the fact that I also work and go to college. I am in Calculus, English, and a Chemistry class. It might not seem like a huge work load to anyone but it is quite time consuming especially calculus xD. I am having a little bit of trouble understanding the material we are currently studying ,but the more I study and practice the easy it gets for me. Thus why I spend less and less hours on sc3 and more hours studying than I would like. Work is a pain because I usually work anywhere from 24 hours a week to 40 hours a week. My job is union contract so I must get a minimum of 24 hours a week of work.
My goal right now is to make it into diamond league which I think I may be able to accomplish in the coming months. Right now I am rank 14 platinum which isn't to bad in my standards (: I want to someday of course be on masters and be able to tear up people at my skill level right now easily. Strategies and build orders are getting easier to implement and improvise for me. Like lately my ZvP and ZvT build is to 14 hatch 15 pool skip speed straight into lair and get infestors or hydras. After I get an infestation pit or hydralisk den I immediately get speed. This build has been working wonders for me on the ladder lately and have only lost to some 1 base alll-ins. I usually have enough hydras or infestors to repel whatever gets thrown at me early game.
I have two replays of some quick games showing this type of build for you. One of them is ZvP the other is ZvT.

Wow, I haven't been using infestors enough. They seem more worthwhile then mutas which I usually go for...I like that trick you used to get rid of the missile turret with the splash damage from one of those eggs (game 1)!
I guess when you let them accumulate a lot of energy its an instant army thats hard to stop...and generally they don't have ghosts or templars that early. I think when you get into diamond you'll find people scout your infestors earlier and respond faster though.
I noticed you're forgetting to scout sometimes, in both games you end up scouting their army composition kind of late.If the terran was more competent that hellion drop (or marine + hellion) could've been pretty deadly, and also if protoss was going to go quick void rays I don't think you would have had infestors in time.
But I'm sure scouting is something everyone tries to remember, its one more aspect of a dozen things you have to constantly be aware of. I play as a rank 33 platinum zerg, so I'm close to your skill level, except you have it down better. Cool replays, I learned something!
