Why you should ignore in-game chat

Ok so first let me come right out and say that I have at least two ulterior motives for posting this:

1) I look smart at one point.
2) I would like to publicly shame my opponent.

But also I sort of suspect he is, aside from "social engineering" his way to a ladder rank that I'll probably never achieve, actually maphacking based on what he does in game (and the fact that his camera never moves in the replay.)

Anyway, here's a replay of cheese and me feeling sorry for someone about 1 second before wanting with every fiber of my being to destroy him.

I agree. Whenever my opponent is overly chatty he is usually up to something. He obviously maphacked and you should report him.

Meh I am a random player and i chat alllll the time and rarely cheese... In fact the only MU i ever cheese in is ZvZ and thats still about 10-20% of the time... although i do agree, when my opponent is overly chatty i do prepare for cheese... regardless of thier manner comments. :-p

never let your guard down. IF they say AFK and u dont need to pause, pause it anyway.

His camera didn't have to move. he could've been minimap fighting you while continuing to work his macro and chronoboost.

Definitely hacking. Report it on Battle.net and move on.

The OP won against the cheater, so he didn't get owned. And if you watched the replay, the Protoss' camera never moved, but he somehow placed down a Pylon and a Forge at close positions on a four player map. So yes, he's using hacks. Also lying if that's not enough. He also cancelled his Forge and two gated when he realized that the OP went Spawning Pool first. Without scouting.

Again, just report and move on. Congratulations on defending it.

someone doesn't look at the information he is given...he is the zerg, ugh....

but yeah, its actually 50/50...im extremely talkative

but i dont think i ever cheese on ladder...
