EPTFrom there it went downhill.
Now I cant seem to win a single game. I feel as though I cant win a straight up macro game anymore. Zergs make infestors, and I die. Terran makes 1/1/1 or BFH drops and it is extremely hard to counter such playstyles. Now I've dropped to diamond, and even losing to occasional plat players. I am frustrated.
My vs Z is the worst where I seem to lose to a variety of all ins or even macro play leading to lategame brood/infestor.
1) Mass ling + infested terrans into zerging your natural
I hate this build. I lose my nat to this everytime unless I rushed super fast 11 minute colossus, on 2 base. However when I do that, I lose to a bunch of other timings including 2 base roach/ling all in, or to straight up mass roach play.
2) Mass ling + infestor
This is hopefully getting nerfed next patch so I can start doing my 6 gate pressure builds again. But this is currently quiet tricky for me. I cant seem to pressure the zerg reliably or kill him before he reaches broodlords. Once the zerg reaches broodlord + infestor it starts going downhill for me.
3) Ling + muta
This is kind of retarded, since I never used to have problem with these builds previously. These days I start preparing for infestors every game (usually by rushing fast colossus) and end up losing to sling/muta.
4)Bling drops
Easy and cheap to pull off, but the rewards are disproportionately high. I end up losing quiet a few probes especially if i'm outside my base trying to poke and he has a bunch of overlords dropping at multiple points simultaneously.
5) Fake expo into baneling busts(or 2 hatch low eco baneling busts)
I've lost count of the number of players who've done this to me. Some players let their hatch complete and then was over your base with larva from 2 bases. And scouting is almost impossible once speedlings are out. However this is relatively easily countered (atleast compared to my other problems)
I'm just venting at this point, but the problem for me is that I am losing to stuff and to players who I wasnt losing to a month ago (even in practise). I feel completely frustrated. I'm sure that there are gaping holes in my play, but I honestly believe that I cant go from relatively decent (mid masters) to low diamond within the span of a month. I practise extremely hard (atleast for my level, 15+ games per day), but I don't understand why I get fucked over so badly.
