Has anyone else gone through this thought? I was just recently promoted to diamond and was able to beat master level players without too much trouble. However, recently it seems like everything has just spiraled downhill.
I have no friends who are serious players, the ones who I got to play just do customs (which I don't find much enjoyment in). So, I don't have anyone who I can regularly practice with.
Lately, I've been losing to players that are way below my level and for stupid reasons. I was good at all three match ups, then I started losing horribly to protoss players. Now, I keep losing in very one sided games to terran players. My ZvZ is now starting to slip. I used to have fun but now I just can't seem to be happy while playing anymore when I can't even have decent games.
So, should I just give up on Starcraft completely, or should I tough it out and hope that this slump will just disappear through practice? I don't know where else to turn but here.

Just take a couple days break.
Play the game if you enjoy it, no good will come out of it if you don't.

Yeah take a break. Relax watch some MLG this weekend eat some Beef Jerky and then get back into it.
Your only doing yourself a disservice by trying to grind through mental blocks. you will make more mistakes and lose dumb games. So think about what builds you want to execute when you start playing again and then go at it again.

I have had this exact same problem, I was playing mid masters as zerg and I somehow started slumping hardcore after I tried to pull a caffeine fueled late night session. Probably not the answer you are looking for, but I think I'm going back to my previous race, Terran. Zerg is so frustrating to play because you can literally be allined in like 50 different ways and need to know how to respond to them. I can't take the cheese anymore

i just take breaks when i feel like i wanna quit, and then i keep coming back cause its so fun

Don't give up unless you're sure it's what you want to do long-term. What if you get a strong urge to play a month after you've given up? Then your skills will be tremendously low, and it will be much harder to get back into the game.

Make new friends. I don't mean stop being friends with your current friends, but find other people through TL who are a similar level and want to practice, talk with them, etc. Very few people have the patience to solo ladder by themselves without ever playing / talking with others with similar interests!

Customs are like the backbone of SC2 man. If you grind ladder all day it gets so lame. Find a couple customs you like and you're entertained for hours.

It happens to everyone man, don't get too down on yourself. Just take a few days break and then comeback and ladder like a madman.
When I am in one of those slumps it gets me more focused to get better and the slump normally ends up helping me in the long run because I end up better than i was when the loosing streak started.

Yeah im gold and ive gotten worse recently.. Ive started 2 gate proxying so its ok

You have it easier than me. I'm in bronze, and just can't win a game. Eventually, I just launch another game or something. Earlier today, i played Black Ops for about an hour, just derping and not caring how I did. Doesn't mean I can win my sc2 games, but it helps get over it.
To be clear, I can't even 2rax allin properly.

If you aren't having fun, take a break unless you think you can go pro or something and must practice. It's a game, a hobby, take it easy and have fun.

Thanks for the support guys. I almost completely forgot about MLG this weekend!!! So now's a perfect time to take a few days off from actually playing without getting out of a Starcraft mindset.
I've loved Starcraft ever since I found out about it just earlier this year, so I'm not ready to give up on it just yet. I'll keep trying. Thanks guys.

Man, whenever I'm feeling down I like to listen to some ballin music to really just... get me back into the mood for giving things another try. Pump that shit, dance, and just get the badness out of your system.
