BlogWhores, the epidemic
Trend - people on TL with few posts, but are making blogs and replying a lot to their own blogs. Perhaps because blogs are the only section where they can talk about themselves. Perhaps this is due to people seeing their posts getting little attention in other sections. No doubt a hit to the ego, but in alas inevitable in a forum filled with intelligent gamers just like the would-be poster himself. The root problem? A weak personal pole, which needs constant outside stimulation to maintain motivation. It can also be said to be descriptive of the more general problem gamers have - high time preference. Because gaming is a high time preference activity, it does not have its own returns unlike other hobbies. This in turn can be looked at as the root cause of what is visible.
So what have I been up to? Not much, playing BW games on Bnet, mostly UmS. its fun, helps forget about the troubles in Korea. I wish the management of teams had more fury to stand up for themselves when dealing with the parent company, as to ensure their survival. Because if one thinks about it, there is little else that can help here. Sure, the fans can write letters and pundits write articles about the issues, but in the end it comes down to how mr team boss presents his case to the parent company marketing/executive board.
I also went jogging yesterday. Its getting frosty here, as I felt from the temperature change. It really swings a lot now that the summer is ending. Also got a slight cold, so coughed in the morning. I think it will get better but i will try to take it easy to make sure.

Best ways to get views:
- Be a girl and make it known, then post pictures of yourself so long as you are somewhat attractive. (Riku Method)
- Insert the words girl, girlfriend, sex, dating, relationships and/or how in the title. (TheGiz Method)
- Make epic, long, ridiculous, humorous posts with reasonable advice therein and become known for them, then start blogging. (ILOVEKITTENS Method)
Methods 1 and 3 are by far the best. I also just like to feed off other blogs by getting people to respond to my posts in them. I usually do that with eye-catching formatting and making sure the post is a decent length.
