But right now I have nothing to do because it's pretty early in the morning and I figured I'd just share some of the stuff that happened so far. I made some pictures but I can't post them because I don't have the correct cable with me right now. Sorry
On Wednesday we arrived at about 9.30 (had to wake up at 5 ~.~). I met up with someone from TakeTV since I'm working for them and XMG at this event. Got my fancy exhibitor pass/badge, which probably is the best one you can have, and checked out the XMG booth. It's huge compared to the one at CeBit, probably double the size and has the TakeTV production crew "attached" to it, so there is a lot of professional stuff going on there.
Then I started to walk around the fair, to get some orientation and a good sense of what's going on, which was fun. The location (as a whole, not just IEM) is huge, the booths are extremely detailed and fancy and they also have many nice, hot chicks (greetings to kaspersky and razer, haha) :D
Although there was only press and trade visitors allowed on Wednesday there were a lot of peoples and the queues were quite significant, especially at the more anticipated games, like Diablo, HotS, MW3, Battlefield 3, TESV, SW:TOR etcetc... you know what I'm talking about.
The games I managed to have a look at were DiabloIII in the evening (kind of luckily), HotS and Zelda - Skyward Sword (not sure if this is the exact name). I also tested the Nintendo 3DS with Ocarina of Time 3D for 30 minutes or so.
DiabloIII is amazing. I expect nothing but great from the game - the presentation level (a dungeon) felt exactly like D2 dungeons did and the flow of the game made me very happy. Look forward for that one! I might add something here later, no time now.
HotS was fun. Nothing special though tbh. It's just campaign...
Zelda was a looot of fun. The Wii controls are amazing. I don't have a Wii though so it will be hard to play through this... maybe one day!
I'm gonna add more stuff about IEM and some games and also the Thursday part later today. Now I realized that I should get into the Skyrim queue before the mob arrives at 10am ":D
thanks for reading guys and ask away if you have any questions or want me to look at anything. I promise to write more later!
