Yeah I mean obviously the competitive scene might not be as developped as bw/sc2, but imagine the effect of a player of Stork caliber switching ? The whole korean scene might be tempted to follow, especially as Angry Birds has a much larger playerbase than bw or even sc2 I believe. Wouldn't it be sick to watch a stream of Stork playing angry birds ? Wouldn't you watch ? I'd do.

Nothing really huge going on. Leta and Oz are friends and Oz is staying here atm. Leta came over and Oz showed him SC2. He played a couple games against us for fun and said he enjoyed playing the game. Nothing about switching, etc.
And yes, he went 2-port banshee in his first game. Should have seen his face light up when he realized he could have multiple buildings selected at once!

Mef, as with all sucessful BW A-teamers, they'll stick to BW as long as they get paid, and being their team's ace, they sure get paid more than they would in SC2 (for now at least).

the only reason BW pros wont switch is that BW A team run by salary and SC2 is running mostly by prize pool.
That's not the only reason why pros won't switch. Some won't switch because of the money yes, but some actually like playing BW.
And regarding Zero, he has a number of friends/former teammates who are now SC2 pros. Same as other BW players. I don't see what the big deal is.

Yeah, not a surprise to see some brood war players keep in touch with their former teammates/friends.
Leta would be the very very last person I would expect to switch to sc2. He is one of the few progamers who truly shows a ton of passion when he wins a big game (or loses).
His reaction after beating flash in the playoffs said it all. he was so happy.

Stork is known for not practicing as much as other BW pros and playing WoW and Angry Birds instead--it's not like "switching" for him.
