You may forgive it now, but you said yourself you behaved incorrectly because of frustration. In other words you admitted guilt. Guess what, we all get frustrated, doesn't exempt you from the rules. Its fine to apologize for acting out of line, but dont criticize reddit or say you're disappointed in hyperbole. 1/4th of your post was an apology, 1/2 of it was you trying to redeem yourself, justify your actions and make underhanded attacks. The rest of the post was comic relief. If you're gonna apologize, man up an apologize. Don't make subtle remarks like I wish you would have had the courage to actually say what you thought about me to my face rather than wait until you got home to write something behind your computer screen, but that's ok. | ||

I thought this was an apology thread? Not some PR spin. Look, I'm not part of the 'reddit' community or whatever, and am certainly not advocating for them. I read the OP and flags of every PR spin in the book went off. Shifting blame, martyrdom, victimizing himself, subtle attacks to the messenger (lol wtf?). Just his way of doing damage control. Like I said, this is an apology thread in which only 1/4 of it was an actual apology. | ||

This is completely understandable and expected in this post. People wanted to hear his side of the story. | ||

Reading KawaiiRice's post just affirmed the situation I pictured. There is an onus on whoever is in charge of the contest to make the winnings as official as possible. Not having specific tags/badges/etc. was a big part of the problem. It's also strange how the MLG staff wasn't made aware of the VIP seat winners. Not very well planned. | ||
