Once the gang gets moving theres no stopping it, downvoting unpopular opinions etc. Same thing happened with the guy who wrote that warpprism site. Someone rolled onto a skerick of information about it and extrapolated it was an evil company and not a dude, and in about 12 hours so much shit had been talked the dude had to make a 20 minute heartfelt video about his entire fucking life to get people to shut the fuck up. In summary, lol reddit, lol. Should be ashamed

Just another story I shouldn't have paid any attention to, with someone of higher standing getting thrown under the bus. Regardless, this was a nice post. I don't think you're hurting ESPORTS, Xeris.

I know I've called people out myself more than once, but I've never insinuated that they were bad people because of their mistakes. There are no real villains here, and that's not just a cliche. We're all human, some perhaps more human (in public) than others. As long as lessons are learned, there's no harm done.

edit just read the reddit thread, 90% percent of the post would earn you the banhammer on TL just for the insults, goes to show where all the PBUs end up.....

The idea of only positive posts is just the view that you can't say something in disagreement without being disrespectful and rude. An example? I'm disagreeing with you while being level-headed.

If you disagree, you get down voted into oblivion. It's a complete joke. It's not even worth posting in the thread because you just get downvoted asap, so people don't even disagree.

One is an accusatory thread, and this is an apology thread. Going back to the warpprism witchhunt, the reddit hivemind turned its heel pretty quickly and forgave jakefrink for persecuting him without full evidence.

YOU WILL BE BANNED FOR THIS ! How dare you disagree with anyone here ! Make a 500 letter apology to reduce it into a temp ban ! .. worth it ....

Here's some perspective on the chair situation: I witnessed a much more heated debate between some people saving seats and security. Eventually the people saving seats starting hurling names at the security guards such as "jackass" which seemed uncalled for, and the security made the guy give up his seat by escorting him outside. The MLG seating situation was pretty bad and caused noticeable tension.
