After coming home from Europe at the end of June I had my Code A games pretty much the next day (well, 2 days after, one of which I spent falling asleep 3 times in my chair before surrendering to a few hours in bed), and then second round Code A just 2 days after that...
Following that I managed to get in some decent practice, I played my GeForce games (finished them yesterday, if I advance is out of my hands - depends on the last results), but the last couple of weeks I havent been able to practice much.
Turns out the working Visa Im here under is actually single entry, so when I go to MLG I m gonna have to re-new it. I've spent a lot of time (and a bunch of 6 AM phone calls to the Korean embassy in LA) trying to figure out ways to avoid having to renew it, or at least ensure that I could in such a short time frame.... And as if that wasnt enough I had to go through mostly the same procedure with the Chinese embassy in LA, tho thankfully all I will need for China is a tourist visa.
Couple this with some serious trouble sleeping (somebody here on TL pm:ed me a bunch of very helpful stuff but I havent been able to go through it yet because Ive been too busy, I m going to look into it when I return) due to the erratic hours caused by all this, as well as some other issues that took up a lot of time to figure out, my shape is not as good as it could be, but Im at least enjoying the game when I do play and look forward to next month being less insane.
What games I have played this month have mostly been on my not-so-secret smurf, JediMindTricks (written in Korean because JediMindTricks is one character too long in english TT)

Not all games on this account were mine tho, or I think my shape would be better (as it would mean I had played about 1200 ladder games this season when combined with my other account, unfortunately its not quite that many). Still I ve been getting matched against good (i.e really top tier) players a lot more consistently now than a month ago, which is a nice sign that Im slowly doing better again.
My goals for Anaheim arent very high to be honest; I think that for this event, just making it far enough that I acquire a decent amount of ranking points will be enough to make me happy - even that will be hard with the many high class Koreans (and non-koreans) in the open bracket. For the next MLG I hope to be in the kind of shape needed to be a true contender.
A lot of people have PM:ed me about streaming, so here's the deal with that: I m leaving for MLG in Anaheim tomorrow, after which I will be going to China for just under a week, and then back to Korea in time for Code A.
This means I wont be able to stream until Somewhere in the middle of August, but when I do I plan on making it a daily thing, and put in a pretty serious volume. Especially with the new maps, laddering should be quite fun, and I ll try to get some customs in on KR, China and maybe even the US (I dont really care about the lag on there anymore, Im pretty used to it).
A few days ago, I woke Supernova up at 8 AM, to warn him of the banelings falling down from the ceiling. Only they were not present when I looked again to tell him just why he needed to get away.... Interesting stuff. Anyway, the need to share this incident got me to actually use my twitter :D!
Jinro Twitter
I will probably be using this to announce daily streaming schedule once I get going, Im not a really big twitter person but it seems super useful in that regard.
I dont know how often I'll blog like this but I felt like updating on some stuff thats been going on was prudent. I appreciate everyone who still supports me even after I havent been doing good for a decent amount of time now, and I hope I can repay that support with results in the following 6 months.
EDIT:
Oh yeah, and I gotta give a shoutout to HawaiianPig for my awesome new Frozen (Stasised) arbiter icon!
For those who dont know, my ID when I joined this site back in 2002, was FrozenArbiter. And for those of you who dont know wtf an arbiter is, it was basically a 10x more awesome version of the mothership, and one of the most fun units in SC1
Low supply, pretty fast, shit in combat but able to recall and cloak friendlies, and freeze enemies... Such a fun unit Reminds me of this game I played way back...

I think you need to use a pretty old patch tho >.<
