Furthermore, as replies pointed out, if I were serious, wouldn't I PM you first?

Also I suppose I was thinking that TL could use a girl's POV on what a desirable guy was, and, instead of writing a typical girl blog, could act accordingly. Hence the bit about you being thoughtful, smart, funny, and "confident without being a douche." Given that I thought the artificial framework of the post was understood, the post seemed almost constructive to the blogs section.

My downfall was that 1) these subtleties do not translate well to the internet, and maybe there are some girls on TL that do talk that way, 2) the "meta-meta" game you described where I could be calling you out in your own medium but truly have the romantic feelings, and 3) that I suppose the tone of my actual, sincere admiration for you overrode the hyperbole in the post.

Because I really do like the things you write--they're really good and unlike a lot of other posters, you actually read the full post and (I feel) most of the comments and post thorough, on-trend responses to them. I hope this won't color your actions in the future; it was just a good idea (I think) that I executed upon badly.

And I really wish I could contribute more to the blogs section in the form of genuine boy blogs for you to comment on, but I do have a boyfriend (another poster on TL) so no turmoil on that front for TL to muse over. However I have been told that you come to Cybercraft sometimes (although apparently only for Brood War, which I usually don't go to) and so there's a real chance we will meet in real life sometime. I do look forward to it, for reasons I have stated, and I hope I haven't irreparably tainted any interaction we have.

These are my thoughts upon reading your blog post; please let me know if there's anything I haven't addressed. Once again, sorry for hurting any feelings.

Also if you feel like it will help the blog, by all means update/quote/copy-paste the whole thing in there. I don't want to post this giant block of text in your thread without your permission.
