I just don't get this fad, or why it's become so popular for people to come to their TL blog for relationship advice. Why couldn't you just make a girl problem thread and keep it confined to one area instead of clogging up the blogs with this stuff?
Some of them are trolls, some of them are legit, some of them are just downright fucking terrible.
But all of them suck.
And they are hurting E-Sports.

As much as I hate girl blogs I did just recently post one, but they are a part of this lifestyle. I mean being a gamer usually means you're nerdy which usually translates to you being uncomfortable with the opposite sex. Just gotta weed out the trolls from the legit posts.

No, girl blogs are awesome, this blog is less entertaining than girl blogs. If you don't like girl blogs, don't read them. Thanks!

Girl blogs are fun, and to not be sexist; boy blogs as well (Like I-love-Kittens'fan-whose-name-I-can't-remember-right-now's).
Some of the stories are downright catastrophic; but the comments are hilarious!

So help me try to understand the fad then. Are girl blogs really that entertaining? To me, it kind of feels like sitting through an episode of The Bachelorette or something.. It just doesn't entertain me in the slightest. I have a hard time thinking of any of it as "hilarious"

Different strokes for different folks, dude.
Some people like watching BW, others like watching SC2. Everyone has a different reason why. Everyone has their own reason for liking or disliking girl blogs.
Just because you don't like reading them, or find them funny, doesn't mean other people don't. ^^

Why are you reading them if you dislike them so much? you act as if you have to go to every single thread and read each and every line of txt. Guess what let people do what they want if it was something serious TL would close all the Girl blogs. Lots of people like reading about them and sometimes they are pretty good.
Why is it wrong to seek advice from your peers? Stop trying to care about something that doesn't effect you directly.

Just don't read em if you don't like em. I sometimes go through them for the comments cause sometimes they can be quite entertaining. Rarely do I actually read the blog post though lol

But yeah, girl blogs are enjoyable for the comments. And TL actually does offer some pretty good advice; I've been through the "Pic of your GF/BF" thread--these people know what they're talking about. Shouldn't be the focus of the site, but as an aside I don't think they're detracting from anything. Anyway, despite denials, I feel like secretly some TL admins want to see "happily-ever-afters" come out of TL.
