Riku reading the laced confrontationalism of your post I'm so tempted to call you out on it and go all nerd-rage, but you don't deserve that (you're too pretty) so I won't. Here dear OP I'll quote you something I wrote, which none other than ILOVEKITTENS QTF'd:

YOU, others, and people with any experience may find them ridiculous and unecessairy, but some people really are that helpless and do need the help and advice. And this is TL, we should be allowed to spread our inadequacy with the opposite sex to the entire internet if we really want to. Excluding the first sentence, this pretty much summarizes my opinion on the matter, although I am clearly very biased on this issue. But this is really the most succinct and logical way I could have put my thoughts on the matter. Great post, on more than one level. I'm sorry that I am not living up to my posting standards due to this post, please forgive me TL, it is a burden to expect criticism based on the fact that post x is not as good as post y, every time you hit the post button. Good posts stand out because they are rare (: /End alcoholic mini-rant at 5:30 am

I just don't read them so it doesn't matter to me if they exist or not.

I say keep them coming. They are usually mildly to extremely entertaining to read, and furthermore, they fit within the purpose of blogs.

OK
I need to have a serious talk with you.
I understand that it's your blog. I understand that you can say whatever you want in your blog.
But I am at your feet
begging you
Please
+ Show Spoiler +Stop making fucking anti-girl blogs.

I'm surprised at the backlash to this thread. Girl blogs are garbage. Yeah, not long ago they were bearable because there was a standard to posting them, like on the rest of TL. Precedents were drawn upon. One poster even sacrificed his entire 4,000+ posting history on TL because he fabricated an entire story that turned into one of the most followed girl blogs on TL. He was perma banned, here was a standard, girl blogs were fucking serious business.
Now that it's acceptable for anyone to post them, people write girl blogs about complete nonsense. Before I stopped reading them, I saw daily girl blogs posted by guys who had never even spoken to the girl in question. That's like making a post asking for help in the strategy section but offering no replay, it makes absolutely no sense. I have no problem with girl blogs, I actually enjoyed reading them, but nobody can deny that as the quantity has gone up, the quality has gone down substantially.
So, for the people reading this who were planning on posting a girl blog in the next 24 hours, I will make a simple request. Before you post, please go and introduce yourself if you've never spoken to her, ask her out if you've been in love with her for X number of years, and break up with her if she cheated on you. You will not need a girl blog to work up the courage to do these things, because you will already know that you are doing it for TL. In the back of your mind we will all be there, in our blue TL logo t-shirts holding up Cheerfuls for you, chanting *your name* hwaiting!~ Congratulations your next girl blog will have 10x more content, instant 5 star rating, mods asking you on the first page to keep updates in the current blog post, etcetc.
Do it for TL.

What do you mean? Girl blogs have a lot of potential. My blog is about acquiring girls, and I haven't actually discussed girls in it for a few months now. I specifically look for girl blogs.
It's just like Starcraft really. You have noobs who don't realize how bad they are trying things in-game that they really shouldn't. They also don't know when to gg and move on to the next game. Having played many games before, I believe I can offer some good advice on how people should approach their laddering so they eventually improve. Maybe then people will start to gain some confidence and actually win games.
These blogs don't hurt E-Sports either. For one thing they're in a separate section that people who want to discuss Starcraft can easily ignore. If anything, helping Starcraft players improve their skills with girls will help them gain more confidence. Confidence makes one a better player. In addition to that, if Starcraft players become known for their smoothness with the ladies, it will attract more people to E-Sports because they see it as a means of becoming popular with women. Women should already tune in to this: imagine what a guy with 100+ APM could do with his hand between a girl's legs.
Sure, bad girl blogs and troll girl blogs exist, but so do bad Starcraft blogs. I don't mind hearing about improvement, but not everyone wants to hear about some loser stuck in Silver League. By furthering the cause of our quest for quality women, we further the cause of E-Sports. If Starcraft players don't go on to create a new generation, E-Sports will die along with the childless players who founded it.
May the girl blogs continue.

^ Amen to that, may these wonderful girl blogs continue. The day TL girl blogs stop is the day I die of boredom at work.
Here's a lengthier reply:
Girl blogs are usually better written than most other blogs. Now, I'm way too lazy to quote specific blogs and crap, but I believe people can come to a general consensus about that. Most girl blogs at least have proper (or at least understandable) grammar and structure. They tell a story, short or long, but nonetheless a (sincere) emotional tale.
Girl blogs also prompt the readers to give feedback, in various forms such as polls, opinions, and advices. Some feedbacks may be blunt and misogynistic, but it's not hard to skip over those to find the real quality ones - I'm sure most of us know "ILOVEKITTENS" or "Torte de Lini" by now - and they really add to the overall richness of the blog.
Now, on the other hand, what can you say to blogs like "oh I reached diamond yay" or "PROTOSS IMBA" or "I went to school came back slept ate a sandwich and played sc2 and raged the end" stuff like that? Not much to add, feedback, whatever...
So. More girl blogs please!

I like to read them and offer advice, I also like to know there is a place where I will be read and have advice given to me.
"Hurting E-sports" lol

WHAT? Man how can ANYONE hate girl blogs? They're utterly hilarious and so much fun to read. It has also spawned the one, the only, legendary ILOVEKITTENS who makes some of the best posts on TL. Haters gonna hate!
Also i lol'd at the 'Hurting E-sports', troll much?

i love girl blogs (and boy blogs) because they're hilariously entertaining

Girl blogs are entertaining, if you hate them then don't read em- plain and simple.
It is most certainly not hurting ESPORTS, it is actually helping it. GF (is shes is a keeper) will join the fight for ESPORTS and if she is loyal to ESPORTS she will produce offspring that will continue spreading ESPORTS.

this is the ultimate goal - to procreate with an ESPORTS champion, so that our offspring will alsolove ESPORTS and perpetuate ESPORTS into the next generarion
