So, the first day after the startup of the blog. I played for a good four hours today, mostly Observer matches, but I did play a few ladder games.
The Obsing went well, I did win a couple of those, slowly working my way toward learning my BO for ZvP, but not for anything else, as people react to my being Zerg by going Protoss.
The Laddering could have been better, but it was made infinitely better by that fact that....
I won a Game!
For awhile, I lost a few games, and a few other games people disconnected from, and then I load up a ZvZ. We both 9 pooled for speed, but I made a few more larvaworth of lings than him, and, thanks to bad ramp placement, I surrounded him for a quick GG. I was excited.  So yes, I played around 4 hours today, got something done, and am now relaxing with some waffles and orange juice. How delightful.

That wasnt your first win was it? Either way, being at a similar level in BW myself, I know every win feels totally kickass. ^^

Nah, not my first. But it was only my 2nd ladder game, so yah, it felt awesome. :D

lol I remember my first win on ladder in ICCUP in BW. 2 gate proxy rush. Felt sooo good.

Oh man. I won a clutch ZvZ today. I went mass speedling and the other guy went roaches. I got demolished by his push and had to pull drones to defend. Was left with like 8 drones while he had about 2 bases saturated. I got like 6 mutas and his second push came with roach/baneling/speedling but my mutas saved the day. He had like 36 drones and I only had like 10 by the time he GG'd lol.

I remember I won the first Iccup game I ever played. I then proceeded to lose the following 8 games :D

Haha, same. I walled off against a zealot rush and killed him with mass vulture.
I also remember losing a shitton of games. I got contained got maxed on tanks and tdurtled with vessel tank turret with tanks and mines for an absurd amount of time.
