A high APM will allow you to do more things, that is true but purely thinking that high APM must equal good play. APM is a result of good play, not the other way around. So how do you get it higher? Well, this relates to a previous tip I gave and that is setting goals for yourself. LML Germany1774 Posts July 11 2011 19:13 GMT #4 seriously, my D+/C- friend kept crying about his Terran being too bad because he had a too low apm. Many people think that way, that they need a higher APM, which is total bullshit, if you don't have macro, even 500 APM won't help you out.

Artifice United States523 Posts July 11 2011 19:22 GMT #6 High APM comes from practice and knowing everything you need to do, it isn't a separate skill. The more you practice and the more things are second nature / rote memorization, the higher your APM will be.
