Hey TLers
Yesterday I went to my first ever warped tour and it was probably the best day of my summer by far. Went with a few friends and we all got in a few mosh pits, got to the front of the crowds during some bands, and we all woke up the next day super sore. I am only a junior in HS so this is all very awesome. Overall we saw 14 bands (Some less than others).
- 3oh!3 - A Day To Remember (Fans were crazy when you get close up) - Asking Alexandria - Attack Attack! - Bad Rabbits - Black Veil Brides - Every Avenue - I Set My Friends On Fire - Of Mice And Men - Relient K - Shut Up And Deal - The Ready Set - There For Tomorrow - We Came As Romans
Sadly we had to leave before The Devil Wears Prada came on. Overall I had an amazing time and I really would like to come back next year with my friends and more. The environment was just awesome and I loved it.

Haha funny story it just so happened that I set my friends on fire and august burns red played at the same time so I let my friends choose where to go ^^ ,but yes it was absolutely amazing.

Wow...I did not know that thing was still around. I gave up on the Warp Tour years ago and seeing the line up I am glad that I did. I hope you had a good time though if that is what you are into.
Sidenote: Long story...but many years ago my old band had a chance at a solid record contract...it was between us and Reliant K...they signed them...I hate those guys. =)

I played halo with the members of I Set My Friends On Fire after the warped tour in Buffalo a few years ago, crazyyy experience. I've loved their music ever since!

Got some pretty sick bands in there, wish i could check it out.

You're so lucky. Congratz though, it sounds like it was a lot of fun, glad you enjoyed your time there.

Dice didn't your eardrums explode at that emo hippie fest?

I am not a big fan of the bands as of late, I went for The Casualties and Alkaline trio in the past though. The day before I went I messed up my ankle skating so I had to linp around all day haha

How was a day to remember? really looking forward to that

I got decently close up then when they came on they started pushing everyone forward and you had like no room to move at all and you were being pushed around constantly. When that finally mellowed out about 7ish mosh pits broke out throughout the crowd until they asked for a huge circle. Of course about 4 other circles broke out as well.
Long story short this is where all the injuries that happened to me and my friends occurred, But it was still amazing and they put on an awesome show and I enjoyed every bit of it. ^^

I'm wondering if Motion City Soundtrack is part of the Warp Tour this year. I would love to see them.

I feel so old. I used to go to Warped Tour every year and now I don't recognize a single band on your list. Sad face.

I didn't even know they did Warped anymore. I was not much into that kind of music but went to one 10 (!) years ago I think. I don't recongize any of those bands at all.
Surprisingly, I didn't burn up the braincells in which memories from that day are stored!
Asbury Park is a shithole. I saw Rancid that day. Rancid live is awesome. Some tool tried stealing my wallet while I was getting hoisted into the air and I kicked him in the head and then watched as some dude that I just met, who happened to look like the crazy asian dude from BLOODSPORT, jacked the other guy up no seriously, asbury is perhaps the most depressing shithole in NJ. I got chased out of there that day by some big pack of lovely individuals who were harassing us.
Yay teenage years!

Well then I am not exactly sure how to respond to that haha I mean like there are a ton of crazy people that go to these things. I think the worst thing the could of happened there was that we met up with two girls we know and they wanted to see because there were so many tall people. SO they got onto two of my friends shoulders and were lifted up, then two idiots come up behind and were like "dude what if I pushed them". Hearing this I kindly asked them to please F Off.
