EPTI was 9 wins, 9 losses today. I was 8 wins 4 losses before the zvz.... yeah, I laddered too much. (Although four of them were zvzs under 5 minutes) >.>
So this is what happened.
Game 1: Protoss does that "pressure poke" off of three gate expand. I've taken a third. My units are late, he forcefields himself into his third. (I was supply blocked tt) So I block the exit, and own his stuff, and he ggs. :D
Next is a zvz on backwater gulch. I go 15 hatch 15 pool 17 gas. I get out roaches. I would have held, but they get caught out in the open and surrounded by lings. Had I blocked the ramp I win. :/
Third is a zvt in which I own reaper harass, and attack with like 6 roaches. He stops that, makes a huge push, I absolutely crush it. First time I"ve crushed a huge marine tank ball like that.
Fourth is exactly like game 1. Protosses tend to overcommit >.>
Fifth is a ZvZ in which I have fail engagements and lose. I have no idea how to engage better :/ I make drones I lose. I make units i lose :/
Sixth is a bizarre game on Shattered Temple. A guy goes one base with cannons, I stick on two base with lair tech. He gets out a bunch of phoenixes and void rays. My hydras pop just in time, and I march to his base and kill him. And he's high diamond >.>
At this point I"m going to ignore some boring games >.>
Another game is close positions shattered temple. I get one gas four gated, forget roach warren, and protect with lings and a heavily transfused spine crawler with 11 kills >.> Felt so good to win that.
Next game it's also close positions. He has a fail wall, but manages at the last second to get it out. I've put too many larvae into zerglings and die to a six gate. Oh well.
ZvP. I counter his natural, kills stuff. I roll his army with pure roach, he gets out voids, I get out hydras and win >.>
ZvT. I get bunker rushed. I hold it off. I get bunker rushesd again. I hold it off. I get bunker rushed again. I don't hold it off. I break out. I only ahve 10 drones. I lose 6 minutes later to a huge push.
ZvT. Hold off 10 minute push, deny third, get fourth, he takes third. I get mass muta and baneling his pfort.
ZvT against same guy on same map same positions >.> This time I opt for faster broodlords. Same result.
ZvP on Tal' Darim. I hold six gate with burrow, and deny third with burrow moving roaches.
Now there are 4 consecutive ZvZs and a ZvT (I own the terran, getting back to #8 in division, and equal for the day) I lose all 4 ZvZs. THe first two I played standard. First one he attacked and I dindn't have enough units out in time. Second one I do same thing, but my upgrades are worse and my micro is bad. And I had less drones. But only 3 less. I'm just confused.
My question: are there any good ZvZ resources. I've watched the 12 weeks with the pros ret zvz. Are there any other good videos for ZvZ instruction?

What I've learned as zerg: Drone timing, the importance of remaxing quickly, and drone counting.
What I have no idea about: ZvZ >.>
