Best Pho in the philippines?

So this Pho thread reminded me that I dont know any good pho places in the philippines. There is lemon grass in ayala but this fucking place has different tasting pho every time you get it. The broth has so much cinnamon taste to it. Its quite frankly the worst tasting pho ive ever had but I got to go back there since i dont know any other place.

Im from houston so Im use to delicious pho... and I need my pho the morning after getting hammered.

Can anyone halp me out plz?

Some tips for pho eaters. Spray sriracha all over the beansprouts and eat it. Also you can ask for vinigared onions and add sriracha. Mmmmm

Lol I'm pretty sure that authentic Pho will not include Hoison or Sriracha, thats sorta an american addition to Pho. Just a heads up.

yea i like the taste of the broth without anything added. But the noodles taste better when its spicy :p

I generally drink some soup then add the sauce. But in the OP i was just refering to making side dishes with beansprouts and vinigared onions. We koreans like them side dishes hehe

Houston has lots of viets, not sure about filippines though. try manila and the street vendors. Plus traditional pho doesnt use siracha lmao.

What's wrong with eating pho with hoison and siracha? That's pretty normal, considering it's in every restaurant through socal. My parents eat it that way too, and they're like 50 years old born and raised in Vietnam.

Technically you only need it if the soup broth isn't good. So if the place is good, you wouldn't need it. You use the hoisin/sricacha on a little plate to dip your meat into. If the place isn't very good, then you have to add hoisin/sricacha to the soup to make the soup better, otherwise it would be too bland/etc.

My favorite pho place was Pho Bac in Robinsons Ermita, but I don't know if it's still there. You can also try different pho Chains like Pho Hoa, and Pho 24. If you're based in Makati, I'm sure there will be at least one branch in the malls there.
