So ya, unless you're afraid of getting nuked by NK during your stay there, probably not dangerous or anything.

What he means is the danger of a war starting between Nkorea and Skorea. If one would start, Seoul would be one of the most dangerous places to be in the world. Personally I find it to be safe. That there would starta war between the 2 koreas would demand a lot. Even the sinking of the ship that craved the lifes of 40+ people didn't start one. NKorea has nothing to win by a war. And SKorea fears for their capital that is very close to the pararell. So I personally believe that a war isn't realistic. But who knows what could happen with NKorea. Their actions are indeed un-predictable.

The only reason why you might consider nto going is if there was a threat of full scale war, which to my knowledge is not the case.

Its not like the old days when things kick off you are stuck in the shit. Each nation has plans for its people over in foreign countries, even more so in potential hostial places. There is nothing to worry about at all.

Anyone who have had or has troops in foreign country(where is fighting going on) are involved in the war. So yes, SK is involved in Afghanistan and was in Iraq. And not to forget, they are still in 'war' right now. But all of this doesn't matter, OP. South Korea is pretty safe and i'd move there anytime from my home country which is one of the 'safest' countries in the world according to that link someone provided..
