Campaign Achievements - Almost Done!

I've taken a break from the laddering to just relax with finishing out all of the campaign achievements. In my first run through, I actually missed the secret mission so I was planning on redoing the whole campaign anyway!

Now, my second time through, I'm /almost/ done with every achievement. I don't really care about recording my "best" times or anything - I just want the cheeeeeeeeeevs. MUST HAVE CHEEVS.

I've finished up all of the achievements except for keeping all the heroes un-incap during Belly of the Beast (I actually just saved half-way through so I /should/ be able to finish that up tonight) for the campaign storyline parts. I also need the Aces All-In (I think?) where you only use the artifact once on Hard?

I am probably going to have to do one more playthrough to get the armory upgrade achievements (I'm still missing vehicle and starship mastery) and I think I'll use that opportunity to also get Brutal Campaign Ace. After that, it will just be the Lost Viking Terratron and Speed-Run to go!

I'm actually kinda excited about all of this - although so many of the missions are just ridiculously easy to win with marine/medic/tanks.

If anyone has any cool tricks for the single-player campaign, leave them in the comments.

Everything is easy except for Gold vikings =\

And if you're looking for tricks, try liquipedia

If you want the armory achievements, play through without upgrading anything, saving up money. Then save, buy all vehicle, reload, buy all ship. Profit.

When you go for Lost Viking gold, be prepared for an extremely frustrating time. Be sure to find the thread on here about it and download the little program that spams spacebar for you...

Or you could just get a robotic arm to press it for you. That's how I do it.

I can't play Lost Viking because my computer freezes and lags.

I have every campaign/mission achievement though except for the Brutal ones.

Here's a neat trick: Beat all the missions without getting a single upgrade, save all your money, and make a save file after each and every mission. It doesn't matter the difficulty, although if you're looking for a challenge try it on Hard or Brutal. This way, you can have the maximum amount of cash available to you before each mission and spend it all towards upgrades that will help you get that mission achievement.

Question: for the "Raid Night" achievement (complete the campaign on normal difficulty in under 8 hours), do you have to start a whole new campaign, or can you just play the missions on normal difficulty using the mission log and improve your times until their total is less than 8 hours?

Sorry if this question has been answered, I couldn't find the answer with a search.
