EPTMap of the Month (MotM for short) is an organization devoted to encouraging well-made maps and giving great maps the publicity they deserve
This is the mission statement of my organization. When we started 6 months ago, to be honest I had no idea how much time and energy I would put into this group. Map of the Month has become my #1 effort, and I think its payed off. How many other non-sponsored tournaments can boast several top-20 GM players? I can count them on one hand. I've been asked to consult on other tournaments for my organizational skills as well. I don't have much playing or casting skill, so getting involved in the SC2 community this way is really important to me.
Of course I've had help, dimfish, FlopTurnReaver, prodiG, Boomstevo, pyrestrike, bkrow, NullCurrent, and of course all the mappers and players who've mapped and/or played (WniO ^^).
This has been a really rewarding experience for me, and is pretty much the reason why I feel confident enough to return to college this year. So... I'm not really sure how to close this. I guess I could end in a plug xD. Please tune in right now to the MotM finals!
