What fascinates me is watching it. I never quite understood why people liked watching sports until my brother got me watching GSL last year. All of a sudden I found myself sucked in to the exciting game being played with (normally) unbelievable skill and concentration. It was vastly entertaining and I have kept coming back for more.
So, what does this have to do with anything? Well, I've decided that I'm going to be involved. Day9 sent out a call to action back in January and I'm finally getting around to answering it.
I'm going to be starting a show! I know, I know. Me and everyone else, right? My show will be different, I promise.
First, its less about my viewers and more about me. I know that is quite contrary to the common line of thought when trying to establish a daily show, however, I feel like I need to be very up front about this. The point of my show will be to develop skill as a caster. After all, thats what I enjoy the most about SC2. To be the best caster in the world of esports ( <--my goal) I'm going to need a refined speaking voice, a ridiculous knowledge base and skin harder then steel.
The show I'm starting is going to be one of the ways I try to achieve legendary versions of all three things. My stream will be up Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday and I'll be airing the show at 8pm EST on all those days. It will be a grand time of me making a complete fool out of myself. So, come get a good laugh. And tell me what I can do better.
We officially start on Sunday, but I think I'll be doing another test show tonight. Who knows.
Hope to see you there some time .
