EPTSome days later for my birthday he brought me a Broodwar CD , a week later I decided to make an account, I was hooked. Time surely does fly.
I wanted to write something for my blog but unfortunately I currently don’t have the time yet to put in words some thoughts I still have in mind since writing Toy Soldiers (which I hope you guys liked even though I’m never too happy with what I write), instead, im gonna pull a JWD and share some good stuff.

Daniel Glover is mostly known by his work as Troy in Community, if you are w nerdy enough you may now is music persona where he goes by the name “Childish Gambino”, if you are even nerdier you may know this record where he remixes the famous Illinoise album by Surfjan Stevens, it’s free and I definitely recommend it.

3. Ron Mueck Giant Sculptures

I know shit about art but this guy made some really interesting sculptures, I find them so fascinating because I think they can really transmit the feeling of the moment, of intimacy, if that makes any sense. Couldnt find the original link where I saw them but here are two with some pictures.

I actually posted this a long time ago but I don’t remember too much people seeing it except for uncontrollable. So here it is again, its based on a lot of stuff probably, most definitely a short Alan Moore comic, still, its really well made.

6. Planescape – Torment

This a short story found in one of the best games ever, a games whos story revolves around one simple question. What can change the nature of a man?
“An elderly man was sitting alone on a dark path, right? He wasn’t certain of which direction to go, and he’d forgotten both where he was traveling to and who he was. He’d sat down for a moment to rest his weary legs, and suddenly looked up to see an elderly woman before him.
She grinned toothlessly and with a cackle, spoke: ‘Now your third wish. What will it be?’”
“‘Third wish?’ The man was baffled. ‘How can it be a third wish if I haven’t had a first and second wish?’”
“‘You’ve had two wishes already,’ the hag said, ‘but your second wish was for me to return everything to the way it was before you had made your first wish. That’s why you remember nothing; because everything is the way it was before you made any wishes.’ She cackled at the poor berk. ‘So it is that you have one wish left.’”
“‘All right,’ said the man, “I don’t believe this, but there’s no harm in wishing. I wish to know who I am.’”
“‘Funny,’ said the old woman as she granted his wish and disappeared forever. ‘That was your first wish.’”

7. Serious Monkey Business

Shit cant believe i forgot to add this, if you guys dont know OCRemix they are a community that revolves around remixing videogames songs/ost, this, imo this its by far they best work so far, they completely remade the Donkey Kong 2 OST and made into an awesome mix of electro-jazz-rock something, AND they even threw down some original lyrics in between some songs. If you played this game YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS.
