EPTI used to never ever fast expand against terran. Now I've discovered how safe it is to go 1 gate FE on most the ladder maps. I haven't tried any nexus first play yet. I think I'll probably grind out the timings of it and start using it in ladder.
Against Zerg I've been pretty much just been 3 gate expanding every game. The only map I feel safe going forge FE is Tal'Dirim Altar. 3 gate expo is easy to do and you can easily transition into anything.
My PvP has improved some. I'm not sure exactly how close I came to my goal, I need to look through all the games. As of right now I really don't care for PvP as it feels like a coin flip pretty much. In most games I play at this point someone ends up 4 gateing. I only go 3 stalker robo if I have a narrow ramp.
In general I think my general downfall is poor positioning of units. I have a hard time keeping a good arc over my opponents army once we start to hit the mid game battles. I feel my general macro is getting better and better with every game though. I've been getting a much better sense of where my opponent might be at in his/her build. This helps me a lot with planning for timing pushes. I want to try to make it out of platinum by the end of the month. We shall see.
