So I've been playing SC2 since it came out after not playing Brood War online. Ever. So of course I've been placed, appropriately, in the bronze league. Well since starting I still really haven't seen much improvement despite playing extensively. After losing a lot, and I mean A LOT, I decided to seek help online and was pointed to the Day 9 daily how to get into SC2. I watched it and now I've made the decision to see if I can get to at least a respectable skill level, but have no one to play with. So really this is more of a "hey come play with me!" kind of post, but if people actually seem to care enough I can start posting replays as I start getting better. So anyone out there feeling like helping a lowly bronze leaguer?

You can do it! I started bronze myself, and with practice (and a daily dose of Day[9]) I managed to fight my way up to Platinum so far this season.

sure there are plenty of people willing to help you just post some replays also you might want to check the practice partner thread if you want some people to play with around your skill level.

You'll want to make a post here if you're looking to pick up some practice partners. Also check the SC2 strategy forums stickied topics for some basics. There's literally hundreds of threads with information you will find useful if you search.

Welcome to TL, Sakain!

I'm also a lower level player and would love to practice with you but I won't have much time to play for another month or so. The Day[9] watching is a great call. In your free time, you could watch a featured streamer (listed on the right side of tl.net) that plays your race and emulate their build order. Trump is pretty popular for Terran players, and Steven.Bonnell.II is popular for zergs (and for pretty much everyone too cause he's rad).

That being said, you should look in the Practice Partner Thread for starters. There, you could register yourself as someone looking for a partner, and you might find someone at about your level who is seeking too.

Again, welcome and great job posting this in Blogs and not in the General Forum :-)

Edit: Grobyc beat me to it. He was also directing you to CecilSunkure's seminal work: How to Improve Efficiently at SC2. Truly a masterful template to greatness. While I'm at it (and for your viewing pleasure), Pokebunny's Unofficial TeamLiquid Thread Hall of Fame is a great place for laughs and for a bit of TL history.

Wow, a lot of responses quickly. Much appreciated guys! I went and checked out the practice partner thread and posted as looking for someone. I also realized that I didn't say that I played zerg in my opening post. Doh!
