I love bacon so much. Recently I've been eating making candied bacon as a snack while watching GSL and it's SO GOOD:
-Preheat over to 350F
-Take desired number of bacon strips and lay them out flat on a cookie sheet covered in tin foil
-Apply gratuitous amounts of BROWN SUGAR. Not so much as to completely smother the bacon, but a generous sprinkling. Adjust to taste.

-Bake for about 10 minutes

You can back it longer for crispier bacon, but you have to watch it very carefully or the brown sugar burns and you even up with really hard burnt tasting bacon, and it can break your teeth.
-Remove from oven and let stand for 3-5 minutes to cool.
You can also broil it, but I've burnt it too many times that way. I've also tried flipping the bacon after about 10 minutes, and it works pretty well.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

maple syrup works really well, at least in a skillet, I assume oven method would work even better.

I've tried that method Terrakin, but I much prefer the oven method, and I really encourage you to give it a try, it's heart-and-mind blowing at the same time.

I prefer it without sugar. Cooked slowly but for a long time so it dries and becomes crispy. OMNOMNOMNOM

I asked for a pizza without bacon today (Domino's puts bacon on EVERYTHING) and everyone said I was nuts. Sorry to say it mate but your little snack there makes my stomach turn. Sticking to beer for GSL watching.

i'd of mixed the strips in a bowl beforehand; the tray wont be as fucked, but tinfoil helped with that.

If you guys want something new to devour, try cooking an entire pack of bacon and dumping the pieces into some brownie batter and then proceeding to cook your brownies as normal. The result is a delicious chocolate concoction with each morsel of bacon providing a salty relief of savory deliciousness.
