Which class?

I just recently got into StarCraft2 and been asking myself which class I should play. Ive heard from different people that each one is easy to pick up but still have a hard time deciding. I have noticed however that I know the keyboard shortcuts for Terran because my mind seems to think of the shortcuts faster and more natural. So im kind of leaning towards Terran in that sense but I have seen lots of Toss gameplay and they seem to be really good and I love the fact that once you start warping a building in you get full use of that drone instead of it being tied up in building stuff.

Im thinking of trying both races against the computer and probably in the practice league a bit to see which one I might like better. Also started working on doing the 4gate strategy for Protoss earlier and it seems to good I just need to keep the macro up and make sure not to get supply blocked. I noticed that once i got the ability to warp in units on my proxy pylon i completely forgot about macro and keeping pylons going. I got capped at 50 supply but i still has enough stalkers to overpower the computers base and win.

I guess for now all i can do is play each class a bit and see which one i like more and then go from there.

you might want to have the thread title changed to what race? or something. I thought you would be talking about some MMORPG.

Yea I realized that after i submitted it to my blog. Oopsie on my part. Kind of a sub conscious thing i do because i play a lot of games that refer to things as classes instead of a race, so its just a natural thing for me.

Just play random and see what race you like the most. Look for the abilities of each race and see what abilities are the most fun. Starcraft is all about fun.

Pick a race any will do, then make sure you regually look at the top right. As you get good you want to stare at the mini map and everything else happens naturally but starting out make sure you spend your money. If you can't spend your money quick enough you need more production buidlings. But theres not point dieing with 2,000 minerals in the bank, that coule have been army that might have meant you didn't die. Good Luck Have Fun.

If I'm honest Terran is probabbly the easyiest race to play to start with but theres not much in it, play what ever you like because the important thing is you have fun.

Most people like to start with Terran, it's what I did. Some races fit different personalities.

I will consider all races for play but will most likely start with Terran since that seems to be the noob friendly race.

Terran is not newb friendly. Do not listen to people who tell you that. Just pick random and start playing. After 100 games decide which race you enjoy playing best and pick that.

Or continue playing random, it can spice things up a little. :D
Either way, tofu's on the money on this one - Terran is not noob friendly. Lots of people find ways to whine and complain about it, but pay them no attention.

Hmmm, would playing random against computer suffice? Or should i just stop being a wuss and use up my practice games?

Thing im worried about with playing random is i dont really have any strategies at this time for any of the classes so ill always lose. Unless you guys are talking more fun as in just enjoying the game even though i lose. Usually when i think fun in RTS games i think winning. But maybe thats kind of a detrimental mindset to have.
