I brought out my telescope and watched it a little earlier, pretty cool.

Astrologers say that this is not just any moon, but SSJMoon. Better stay inside because it heralds the end of the world.

Can barely make it out through the trees.... in half an hour I should be able to see it above the treeline.

Just checked it out... yea it looks bigger/brighter than usual, but not a huge difference... so no shocker.
I actually made a mental note of where I was standing, and 'measured' the diameter by aligning the moon next to a street sign :p

Doesn't seem that much bigger than any other perigee, but still awesome

The first glance is the best. You see it for the first time so it looks big, and then once you've stared at it past 10 seconds, the excitement's gone.
So, the first glance has to be perfect

I saw it on my way to Wawa a little while ago. Shit was big.

Full moon over here, I love how you can see some sort of landscape on it's surface. Fucking bright indeed, this is the first time looking into the moon hurt my eyes.

I wish it wasn't so cloudy here. Hopefully it is better tomorrow. ^^
Considering how rare they are I thank you for reminding me. ^^

I think the moon looks bigger when its closer to the horizon due to an optical illusion, its the same way with clouds, but yeah, pretty cool stuff.
Unfortunately I live in the metro DC area so i doubt I'll be able to see anything

I pointed it out to my gf on the way home and she told me the same fact about how close it was, I didnt even know. It did look absolutely gigantic though, with a weird orange/yellowish glow.
