Hey, sorry for taking up space but I read a really great post by another poster at some point where he's discussing the meaning of life or some computer game or something and talks about how when he was younger he used to watch porn on a dial-up modem and would never know if the woman was a shemale until 10 minutes into downloading the picture.
If anyone knows where that post is please link it as I enjoyed the style of writing but can't for the life of me think of what it was about. I tried searching porn modem shemale dialup etc. But still can't find it. Thanks.

In those days, the hottest company around was Amazon.com, so named because the Yahoo search engine sorted websites by alphabetical order. The closest thing to a text message was paging 07734 to a friend, which spelled "hELLO", unless your friend didn't turn his pager upside down, in which case it just spelled 07734. The domain name google.com had not been registered yet. Surfing the net was done with a dial up modem that made a funny noise when it connected. And download speeds were so slow you could surf the whole night and only see 8 women (16 if you were looking for lesbians). Even worse, the pictures loaded slowly from top to bottom, so you were never quite sure if you were looking at a shemale until you'd wasted 10 minutes.

okay, to tell you honestly starcraft brood war and starcraft 2 saved my life since I'm beginning to get addicted to porn before. (before I had a girl, all i did with the computer is download porn due to boredom, frequently jacking off and having no money go out and enjoy the sunshine)

As i work for a adult entertainment website, i can say that many of our customers are actually 30+ and often even 40+.
Well, maybe it's because on our websites you have to pay for it and younger people don't like to pay for stuff they can get free.

Funnily enough, I've always found free porn most rewarding and interesting than paid porn. Paid porn feels so... artificial.

Off topic here, but I've always been curious as to WHY people pay for porn? Is it because they don't know any free sites? Is it because they "love" a particular actress? I mean, I'd pay too for high-speed access if I were a multi-millionaire, but I don't think all of your customers are multi-millionaires.

There are some advantages, for example better video quality (image and audio wise). I once compared a few random free youporn samples with what we have on our site (we have a professional and a private porn section) and the image quality is very, very different.
Also most of the professional free porn (not including torrented or otherwise downloaded DVD rips) contains just parts of a DVD while you can get the full version only if you pay for it, which might play a role for some studios (The studio Private even adds some story to their movies... though... well, it's a porn movie. In summary: Quality might be better, but still... people seem to be too stupid to find free porn. But our turnover is degrading anyways, except for the private porn section, which is currently stable.
