I've always wanted to try some of the other non-hardcore drugs, (acid and shrooms mostly), but I've been told if you've got anxiety issues that it's a bad idea, so I've always refrained, o.o; | ||

next time just take a couple deep breathes and think about how much weed you just smoked, then mellow yourself out and tell yourself you're gonna relax and have a good time, because smoking that much weed and tripping like that is a WASTE | ||

Unfortunately I'm very accustomed with the experience you described, as it started happening to me consistently almost every time I smoked (given it was always very high quality stuff though). I eventually had to stop smoking just because I hated having to deal with those thoughts when I was only trying to enjoy myself, and I just want you to avoid having the same experience. Not fun, but what can you do. | ||

Well I would say it's not really bad "trips" but just a bad experience. It's definitely possible to weird out a bit on weed, I've done it a few times before. Personally I just started thinking certain things were happening when they really weren't, like thinking some of my best friends were trying to fuck with me. You just trip yourself out cause you're way too stoned. For me, I pretty much don't smoke bongs/buckets or anything anymore and just stick with Js..cause they don't fuck you up as much. If I were you OP I'd just smoke with your real close friends because things like this are never really fun to deal with, and by the sounds of it, it was probably enhanced by the fact you were with someone you're not 100% comfortable around. | ||

I don't smoke weed because most of the time I do it I just get all paranoid and I've had feelings similar to panic attacks and severe anxiety etc. I've read about a lot of smokers who just all the sudden turned a corner in their use and just couldn't relax and have fun on it like they used to. And just fyi, you can 'trip' on weed. Back when I first started to smoke I would get all these crazy body highs like my head was a baloon and it was filled with electricity or like the whole earth was rolling to the left and I was walking at an angle on a flat ground etc etc. | ||
